§ 02 · Where we start

Growth isn't always a marketing problem.

Think of your business as a shophouse. Before we touch anything, we look at the whole house.

  1. The whole house

Do you know what's really holding you back?

    • Or maybe you can't tell where the problem is yet.
    Growth & Strategy →
  2. The signboard

Do people notice you, and remember you?

    • Maybe you need more customers.
    Brand & Marketing →
  3. The five-foot way

Can people find you when they're looking?

    • Maybe customers find your competitors first.
    Search & Discovery →
  4. The door

When people arrive, do they come in?

    • Maybe your website doesn't convert.
    • Maybe customers arrive and then drift off before they buy.
    Digital Experiences →
  5. The back room

Is the work behind the counter flowing?

    • Maybe your team spends every evening updating spreadsheets.
    • Maybe your salespeople do more admin than selling.
    AI & Automation →
  6. The ledger

Do you know what's actually working?

    • Maybe the important stuff lives in WhatsApp, email and screenshots.
    Data & Intelligence →

That's where we start.

We look at how your business runs, how your customers behave and where growth gets stuck. Then we build the fix.

§ 03 · The work

We don't sell channels. We solve growth problems.

  • Sometimesthe answer is a campaign.
  • Sometimesit's a new website, or sharper positioning.
  • Sometimesit's understanding why customers hesitate, and changing what they see.
  • Sometimesit's an AI agent, or getting the software you already pay for to talk to each other.
  • Sometimesit's cutting five pointless steps out of something your team does every day.

The solution changes. The objective doesn't.Growth.

§ 04 · The human manifesto

Humans aren't legacy technology.

What AI is good at

  • write
  • analyse
  • research
  • organise
  • predict
  • automate
  • execute

We use AI every day. It's fast, tireless and good at the boring parts. But a business can get so busy optimising that it forgets who it's for.

People build companies. People work inside them. People trust, hesitate, complain, recommend and come back.

AI can't replace why people care about things: taste, trust, humour, empathy, context, relationships, judgment.

So we don't use AI to take people out of the business. We use it to take the busywork away from them.

Gives them time to: think, create, sell, talk to customers, decide.

Humans lead. AI works alongside them.

How it adds up

  1. Human behaviour

Why people notice, trust, choose, buy, come back and tell their friends.

  2. Creativity

Turning what we learn into ideas and experiences people actually care about.

  3. Data

Seeing what's really happening instead of guessing.

  4. AI

More speed and more reach for the humans doing the work.

  5. Growth systems

None of these work alone. Together they're how KALP works.

Human behaviour times creativity times data times AI equals growth systems.

§ 05 · What we do

One company. Four ways we create growth.

  1. Create demand.

Make the right people notice you.

We start with who needs to care and why, then pick the channels.

    • Brand strategy
    • Positioning
    • Campaigns
    • Content
    • Social
    • Creators
    • Paid media
    • SEO
    • AEO / AI search
    • Traditional media
    • Research

    02 Brand & Marketing →03 Search & Discovery →

  2. Convert demand.

    Turn attention into action.

    1. Interested
    2. Curious
    3. Convinced
    4. Customer
    • Websites
    • Landing pages
    • Apps
    • E-commerce
    • UX / UI
    • Conversion
    • CRM
    • Lifecycle
    • Personalisation

Make it easier for people to say yes.

    04 Digital Experiences →

  3. Build better systems.

Take away the work that shouldn't need a human.

    • AI agents
    • WhatsApp workflows
    • Document processing
    • Workflow automation
    • CRM automation
    • Internal tools
    • Data connections

Most companies don't need more software. They need their tools to work together.

    05 AI & Automation →

  4. Learn and scale.

    Know what's actually working.

Who's buying? Why? Why not? Where do they drop off? Which marketing makes money? Where is time leaking? What do we test next?

    • Marketing analytics
    • Dashboards
    • Customer analytics
    • Attribution
    • Experimentation
    • Reporting automation
    • Competitive monitoring
    • Growth intelligence

    Growth isn't a campaign. It's a learning system.

§ 06 · AI with a job description

AI should have a job. Not a gimmick.

We don't add AI because it looks good in a pitch deck. We give it a role, responsibilities and a human to report to. The files below are illustrative: any agent we build would get a job description like these.

  • Job description · No. 001

    Role: example

    Finance agent

    Responsibilities

    • Reads receipts and payment screenshots
    • Sorts expenses
    • Gets records ready for review

Escalates when an amount or supplier doesn't add up.

    Reports to:a human

  • Job description · No. 002

    Role: example

    Sales agent

    Responsibilities

    • Researches prospects
    • Keeps the CRM current
    • Drafts follow-ups

Escalates when a lead is ready for a real conversation.

    Reports to:a human

  • Job description · No. 003

    Role: example

    Marketing agent

    Responsibilities

    • Watches competitors
    • Reads campaign results
    • Prepares drafts and variations

Escalates when something needs taste or a decision.

    Reports to:a human

  • Job description · No. 004

    Role: example

    Operations agent

    Responsibilities

    • Turns messages, photos, documents and voice notes into clean records

Escalates when something is missing or unclear.

    Reports to:a human

  • Job description · No. 005

    Role: example

    Customer agent

    Responsibilities

    • Answers routine questions
    • Finds information fast

Escalates when a customer needs a person, which it can tell.

    Reports to:a human

  • Job description · No. 006

    Role: example

    Management agent

    Responsibilities

    • Turns scattered information into dashboards, alerts and plain answers

Escalates what actually needs your attention.

    Reports to:a human

AI doesn't replace the team. It gives the team leverage.

§ 07 · An illustrative example

This is also growth.

An employee buys something for the business, photographs the receipt and sends it on WhatsApp. Here's what that could look like.

Before

Every evening, by hand

  1. Employee buys something.
  2. Takes a photo of the receipt.
  3. Sends it on WhatsApp.
  4. Manager downloads the image.
  5. Opens Excel.
  6. Reads the supplier.
  7. Types the amount.
  8. Picks a category.
  9. Checks the date.
  10. Forgets one receipt.
  11. Does it all again tomorrow.

With KALP

As it arrives

Illustrative

  1. Employee sends the receipt.
  2. AI reads it.
  3. Pulls out supplier, date, amount and payment details.
  4. Sorts it into the right category.
  5. Flags anything it isn't sure about.
  6. A human approves when needed.
  7. The spreadsheet or accounting system updates.
  8. The dashboard updates.

8/8 done. Nobody opened Excel.

Then the owner could ask,

“How much did we spend on materials this month?”

and get an answer, instead of scrolling through three weeks of messages.

Every hour your business stops wasting is an hour it can spend growing.

For small businesses

Small businesses deserve better technology too.

Most SMEs don't have a technology problem. They have a gap problem.

  • WhatsApp(over here)
  • Excel(over there)
  • Invoices(somewhere else)
  • Email(also somewhere)
  • A salesperson's phone(leads)
  • The manager's head(everything else)

The tools usually aren't bad. They just don't talk to each other.

We make them talk.

  1. Start with what people already do.
  2. Improve it.
  3. Automate what makes sense.
  4. Keep humans where they matter.

You can keep working in the tools your team already knows.

§ 09 · How we work

How we work.

Three promises

  • We listen before we prescribe.
  • We start with your customers and your problem, then choose the channel.
  • We'll tell you if the fix is simpler than you think.
  1. Stage 1: Listen

Customers, staff, management and data each tell part of the story. We listen before we prescribe.

  2. Stage 2: Find the friction

Where are you losing time, attention, money, customers or information?

  3. Stage 3: Design the system

People, process, creative, technology, AI. Whatever the problem needs.

  4. Stage 4: Put it into the world

A campaign, a website, a workflow, an agent, a product.

  5. Stage 5: Learn

Measure what happened. Talk to people again.

  6. Stage 6: Improve

Keep what works, change what doesn't, scale what matters.

Listen, find, build, learn, improve, and round again.

§ 10 · Ideas and work

From the notebook.

Ideas about growth, people and the useful kind of AI. We're writing these now.

Field notes

  • Field note No. 1

    In the works

A bad process automated is still a bad process

Automate a messy process and you get the same mess, only faster. Fix the steps first.

  • Field note No. 2

    In the works

B2B marketing is still human to human

Your buyer is a company on paper and a person in practice. Market to the person.

  • Field note No. 3

    In the works

Nobody cares that your company uses AI

Customers care whether you're quicker, cheaper or easier to deal with. How you got there is your business.
